2017 North Korea Group Tours

Please see our 2017 North Korea Group Tours below.

Application deadline - you are kindly asked to please apply by the application deadline. If you apply after the application deadline we will be able to notify you within one business day if we can proceed with your application or not. Our partners can issue visas within 10 days before a tour departure but it can be hard to arrange transportation for late bookings so do please try to apply by the deadline!

Please scroll to the bottom of the page for exact details on what rates include.

Click on "itinerary" to see the full travel program of each tour.

Tour Extensions - you may want to read about our Sinuiju extensions which now include a visit to Dongrim. This is available as you leave the DPRK (there is no need to exit the country and re-enter).

This extension is only available for those entering and/or exiting North Korea by plane.

IMPORTANT: train vs plane

We strongly recommend travellers to take the train at least once as it allows us not only to see more of the DPRK as we ride through rural areas and second tier cities, but it also gives us the chance meet Koreans who are leaving the country. Interacting, chatting and having drinks with them is always a fascinating experience and something taking the train gives us the chance to experience. There are usually business people, sports teams, workers, soldiers and delegations on the train. Basically we will have the chance to meet Koreans of all walks of life on the train, something not possible to do on the plane, which is why we recommend taking the train at least on one leg of the trip.

Rates in green - entering and exiting North Korea by train

Rates in blue - entering North Korea by plane and exiting by train

If entering by train you will leave Beijing the day before the tour date at 17.27.

You may also exit by plane for departures scheduled to exit by train. If interested in this option, please contact us.
