Anyone of you stayed a night in Kaesong in North Korea? Or rather Wonsan? Or neither one?

Staying overnight in Kaesong vs Wonsan

Thanks for your message. Sorry for the late reply, we just relaunched our forum recently! I believe you ended staying up in Wonsan overnight?

In any case, both cities are very different. If you stay in Kaesong, we strongly recommend you to stay at the Minsok Folk Hotel. It is in the old part of Kaesong, in fact it the hotel consists of original homes located in the old part of the city, so you will be able to see what life was like in traditional Korea (and what it is still like in the old part of the city). Wonsan on the other hand is a bustling port city. The drive there is a fascinating one as you drive from one side of the DPRK to the other.

I strongly recommend you all to go to our Kaesong and Wonsan pages to see what each city has to offer.
