This trip is geared for those who are interested in carrying out business with D.P.R.K companies or foreign companies established there.

Day Prior to Departure

  • Pre-departure meeting in Beijing with DPRK Officials specialising in trade in the DPRK - receive a briefing on carrying out business in the DPRK and on your visit to the country
  • Receive all travel documents

Day 1 - May 17 (Tue)

  • Flight to Pyongyang
  • Reception by members of the DPRK authorities
  • Schedules of meetings with potential investors will be handed to each participant
  • Mansudae sights
  • Welcome Dinner

Overnight: Yanggakdo Hotel, Pyongyang

Day 2 - May 18 (Weds)

AM

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Pyongyang Trade Fair - chance to mingle with potential local partners and foreign companies already established in the DPRK
  • Lunch: City restaurant

PM

  • Private scheduled meetings with potential partners in the hotel as well as meetings with potential partners met in the trade fair
  • Dinner: City centre, Pyongyang

Overnight: Yanggakdo Hotel, Pyongyang

Day 3 - May 19 (Thurs)

AM

  • Breakfast: Yanggakdo Hotel
  • Visit companies in & around Pyongyang based on customers' requests

PM

  • Lunch
  • Second visit to Pyongyang Trade Fair
  • Private scheduled meetings with potential DPRK partners
  • Sights around Pyongyang : Pyongyang Metro, Juche Tower, Grand People's Study House

Overnight: Yanggakdo Hotel, Pyongyang

Day 4 - May 20 (Fri)

AM

  • Breakfast: Yanggakdo Hotel
  • Depart to Panmunjom (the DMZ) by coach
  • 38th Parallel

PM

  • Lunch at Tongil Restaurant (Kaesong)
  • Koryo Museum (Kaesong)
  • Concrete Wall - built by the South and only visible from the North. See one of the world's most important nature reserves as hardly any humans have stepped on the land dividing the Korean peninsula since 1953
  • Tomb of King Kongmin
  • Drive back to Pyongyang
  • Workers' Party Monuments
  • Informal session with other participants and DPRK authorities regarding business opportunities in the DPRK.
  • Farewell Dinner

Overnight: Yanggakdo Hotel, Pyongyang

Day 5 - May 21 (Sat)

AM

  • Breakfast: Yanggakdo Hotel
  • Flight / train back to Beijing (please inform us beforehand if you would like the train back option)

End of visit

Day 6 - May 22 (Sun)

Arrival in Beijing at 08:31 am for those taking the train back
