Private Tours in North Korea

by David

What are the benefits of going on a private tour to North Korea vs joining a group tour? Do you get to see more places by having your own private tour. How many people do you have on average in your groups?

We are a couple of friends thinking of going to North Korea this year and would like to see what options suit us best

Group tours vs Private Tours in North Korea
by: KTG

Hi David,

Thanks for your message. People on independent tours simply have more flexibility regarding what to see and when to go (e.g. perhaps a visit in a group tour does not include a visit to a specific place you are interested in and if going on a private tour you will be able to see it). This does not mean that people on independent tours see more aspects of the country.

Please bear in mind too that you will be able to join a group and then have a private extension if you would like to stay longer in North Korea.

We recommend private trips if you have a specific program or determined travel dates in mind that do not fit in with those of our group tours.

Hope this helps and let us know if you have any other questions!

Rayco.
