DPRK Domestic flights updates

Hi everyone!


The DPRK domestic flight timetables we have for July are as shown below. If you may be interested in joining any of these flight (whether it be as a private trip or as a private extension) please do let us know!


- Pyongyang - Samjiyon (Mount Paekdu) - Pyongyang

Flights are on Wednesdays
Pyongyang to Samjiyon: 08.00 am arriving at 09:30 am
Samjiyon to Pyongyang: 18.00 arriving in Pyongyang at 19.30

This will allow for one day trips to Mt. Paekdu to be made. If interested in an extension to Mt. Paekdu please contact us


- Pyongyang - Sondok (Hamhung)

Flights are on Mondays
Pyongyang to Sondok: 09.30 arriving in Sondok at 10.15
Sondok to Pyongyang: 18.00 arriving in Pyongyang at 18.45

The road trip to from Pyongyang to Wonsan takes around 4 hours and then from Wonsan to Hamhung it takes around 2 hours. Literally drying across the DPRK is a fascinating experience though.

- Pyongyang - Orang (Chongjin)

Flights are on Tuesdays
Pyongyang - Orang: 09.30 arriving in Orang at 10.50
Orang - Pyongyang: 18.00 arriving in Pyongyang at 19.20

This offers a great opportunity to discover the third largest city in the DPRK directly from Pyongyang without having to enter via Rason.


In addition to this there are currently flights from Pyongyang directly to Yanji on Fridays and Sundays for those interested in visiting the Northeastern corner of DPRK before or after a trip to Pyongyang and other sites.
